The presentation entitled, "Addressing systemic gaps in community health with digital Heath Tech innovation" used the COVID-19 pandemic as a backdrop. It focused on pre-existing gaps in care and the impact on low income and marginalized communities.
During the first wave of outbreak, healthcare institutions rapidly deployed video call solutions. While these applications enable connectivity and communication, they do not address systemic gaps in care. The presentation identified some of the Barriers and examined the pathways and opportunities to increased access and system level improvements.
